You can use one NextCRM login for several workspaces - for example for your second or third company, or because other companies invited you to their team. Every workspace is completely separate: it has its own leads, tasks, team, settings, plan and billing, and you can have a different role in each one.
Choose a workspace when you sign in
If you belong to more than one workspace, NextCRM opens the workspace you used last. If that is not possible - for example because you were removed from it - you see Choose a workspace with one card per workspace. Each card shows your role, the plan and the number of unread notifications. Click a card to open that workspace.
If you are not a member of any workspace, you see Create your workspace instead. Create a workspace for your company there, or accept an invitation that is listed on the same screen.
Switch between workspaces
- Click the workspace name in the top bar. On a phone, tap the workspace logo or initials.
- Choose the workspace you want to open. The current workspace has a check mark.
NextCRM reloads the page and opens the other workspace. Nothing from the previous workspace stays on screen.
Note: All browser tabs share the same sign-in. If you switch the workspace in one tab, other open tabs show Another workspace was opened. Click Reload there to continue in the current workspace. This prevents changes from being saved in the wrong workspace.
If a workspace has no active plan, the plan screen covers the page. Click Switch workspace on that screen to open another workspace.
Create another workspace
- Click the workspace name in the top bar and choose Create new workspace.
- Enter the Workspace name, usually the name of the company.
- Click Create workspace.
The new workspace starts empty and you are its Owner. It has its own plan and billing, so Configuration and the plan selection start again - exactly like a new sign-up. See Billing, plans and add-ons.
Tip: You can own up to 5 workspaces. You need a verified email address to create a workspace.
Invitations from other workspaces
When someone invites your email address to their workspace, you can accept in two ways:
- Click Accept Invitation in the invitation email, then Continue with current account.
- Open the workspace switcher in the top bar or Manage workspaces. Under Invitations you see "You were invited to ... as ...". Click Accept or Decline.
After you accept, NextCRM opens the new workspace. Your other workspaces stay unchanged. See Inviting your team.
Roles, plans and data per workspace
Your role applies to one workspace only. You can be the owner of your own company's workspace and a Sales Manager or Sales Team member in a workspace you were invited to. What you can see and do always depends on your role in the workspace that is open. See Workspace roles and permissions.
Leads, customers, tasks, notifications, Lora chats and settings never move between workspaces. Each workspace pays for its own plan and team seats.
Leave a workspace
- Click the workspace name in the top bar and choose Manage workspaces.
- Click Leave next to the workspace and confirm with Leave workspace.
You lose access to the workspace and its data. A Workspace Admin can invite you again later.
Warning: The only owner of a workspace cannot leave it. Transfer ownership or delete the workspace first - contact NextCRM support if you need help.
If you leave the workspace that is open, NextCRM opens another one of your workspaces. If you have no workspace left, you see Create your workspace.
